During the 1970s and 1980s Coalport produced a number of storybook figures, brooches and other items in varying numbers based on the characters from various books. These included Paddington Bear, Grey Rabbit, Alice in Wonderland, Basil Brush and Postman Pat. Some of these items are now very hard to find particularly as some of them were prone to hairline cracks.
